It is all started 4 years ago when I learn Reiki in Jakarta, Indonesia from my lovely Reiki Master. She taught us about Chakras and crystals and gemstones that connects to each chakras among many other things. And that was it, I was very fascinated by the concept of healing crystals and gemstones.
Afterwards, I wanted to have Rose Quarts and Amethyst bracelet and couldn’t find anything that I feel connected to. So, I decided to make my own. So, there it was. My very own Rose Quarts and Amethyst bracelet. From there, I wanted a Mala necklace, so I made those too and so on, and to my amazement, many friends and acquaintances asked me to make one for them. And here I am now, 3,5 years later as a jeweller artisan.
Why artisan instead of a business owner? I treasure making pieces that really fits with each individuals. I love that feeling of creating something new, including all the new challenges and to see satisfactions from people to get something distinct to their own. Almost every items are different, even very slightly. I want everyone has a unique piece because I truly love the idea of everyone is exceptionally unique. It’s an idea that is dear to me.
I was still working as professional in a corporate at that time, so I decided to let that go and focus on Joya and only takes on consultancy projects and can’t be happier since. And here I am, still discovering and learning new things with Joya. I learn so much about people through my customers, some even become good friends, but mostly, I learn about myself, about how far I can go when I put my mind and soul into it.
Realising that Reiki was the spark that opens this door for me and how much it helps me in my own personal journey makes me want to share that gift. I cleanse all Joya items with either singing bowls or with Reiki. So every piece leaves the nest to meet their owners with clean energy as well as loving, compassion and healing intentions.
That is why I feel ‘Breathe. Believe. Accept’ is the perfect tagline.
I feel very fortunate to be able to share this with you 🙂
